Ren Riley is a Principal at Robertson Stephens. He is responsible for new business development, focused on high net worth clients. In addition, Ren delivers access to the alternative asset class, across a number of products and services, representing a significant differentiator for the firm’s core wealth management platform.
Most recently, Ren spent 16 years with Oak Investment Partners, where he became a General Partner in 2006. His primary focus was on emerging growth, multi-stage investments in the internet, mobile, and enterprise software and services sectors, around the globe.
Prior to his tenure at Oak, Ren was a Senior Associate in the corporate finance division of the original Robertson Stephens, a technology-focused investment bank.
Ren earned an AB in Government from Dartmouth College. A native of San Francisco, Ren and his wife Stephanie currently live in Redwood City. He has a full house of young children with three sons and two daughters. When not running around to the numerous kids’ activities and sports, Ren enjoys playing golf and skiing, as well as traveling with his family.
