Please join Robertson Stephens as we host Blockchain Revolution, a discussion addressing the trailblazing technology likely to have the greatest impact on the future of the world economy. Our event begins with a keynote from authors Don Tapscott and Alex Tapscott discussing their new book Blockchain Revolution: How the Technology Behind Bitcoin is Changing Money, Business, and the World.

The Tapscotts argue that the blockchain will shape the next era of prosperity—in finance, business, healthcare, education, governance, and beyond. If there was ever something you wanted to understand about this technology or how the worldwide ledger works, these men have your answer.

"The Internet as we know it is great for collaboration and communication, but deeply flawed when it comes to commerce and privacy. The new blockchain technology facilitates peer-to-peer transactions without any intermediary such as a bank or governing body. In other words, two parties need not know nor trust one another to conduct business, as this trust is built into the system itself."

Following the keynote, hear firsthand from the people that are creating the future. Bloomberg Media’s Cory Johnson moderates a series of fireside chats with investors and leaders at the forefront of the blockchain movement as well as legal experts and some of the country’s leading payment processing providers.

The afternoon is an opportunity to learn about blockchain’s implications and how to manage issues of trust, security and privacy for years to come. Afterwards, there will be plenty of time to engage with attendees and speakers.
