Jack Gilligan, CFA

Senior Vice President

Jack is a Senior Vice President at Robertson Stephens. Together with Erik Boe, Julie Steinman, CFP®, Eric Kiel, Brian Post, CFA and Kelly Woodward, Jack is a part of the Sun Valley, Idaho-based team serving the wealth management needs of high and ultra-high net worth clientele in the Northwest and throughout the country. In addition to his wealth management advisory work, Jack has over 20 years of experience in the investment and financial services industry including equity research, fixed income management, and development and implementation of custom asset allocation strategies for high-net worth and foundation/endowment clients.

Prior to joining Robertson Stephens, Jack was a Senior Wealth Advisor at Mercer Advisors in Ketchum, Idaho where he led client relationships and oversaw their estate, tax, and investment planning and implementation.  Previously, he was part of ClearRock Capital, helping build the RIA from start-up to acquisition by Mercer Advisors over 12 years.  Jack began his career working at Goldman Sachs in Equities Sales & Trading.

Jack is a CFA® Charterholder and earned his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Colgate University where he was co-captain of the Men’s Varsity Swim Team. Jack is a member of the CFA Institute and CFA Society of Idaho.  He serves as a board member of Idaho Basecamp non-profit in Ketchum, Idaho and has been a coach of the Sun Valley Freeride Team since 2007. Jack is a long-time resident of Ketchum and enjoys spending time with his wife and two children in the mountains of Idaho.
