Julie Steinman, CFP®

Managing Director

Julie is a Managing Director at Robertson Stephens. Together with Erik Boe, Eric Kiel, Brian Post, CFA and Kelly Woodward, she meets client needs by providing high-touch, personalized attention. As a CFP® professional her focus is on gaining a comprehensive understanding of the individuals and families she works with including their financial circumstances, family dynamics, tax situations, and estate plans in order to help them achieve their goals. Julie prides herself on responsiveness, accountability, and the ability to effectively partner with other members of the client’s trusted advisors including their attorneys, trustees, and CPA’s.

Prior to joining Robertson Stephens, Julie was a Senior Financial Associate with RBC Wealth Management serving in this role for over 12 years. Her career in financial services began in 1986 including eight years as a Registered Financial Associate with A.G. Edwards and more than 10 years as a Registered Representative with Fidelity Investments. In 2013 she completed the course of study and board examination requirements to acquire the Certified Financial Planner^®, CFP^® designation.

Julie earned a Bachelor of Science degree in finance from the University of Utah. Julie and her husband, Tom, live in Hailey, Idaho and enjoy many outdoor activities including hiking with their dogs, snowshoeing, skiing, wakeboarding, rafting, and camping. When at home, they devote time to their garden – growing produce to donate to the Hunger Coalition where they volunteer regularly. Their son Mitchell currently attends University of Utah.
