Matthew Lim

Vice President

Matthew is a Vice President at Robertson Stephens. Matthew implements and develops business processes and strategies in order to provide high quality operational service to the firm’s clients and financial advisors. Key to his role, Matthew coordinates with advisors and custodians to support the on-boarding of new advisor teams, thus contributing to the continued growth and success of the firm.

Prior to joining Robertson Stephens, Matthew worked for National Securities Corporation as its sole Operations and Client Services Associate, where he supported multiple financial advisors and lead operations for their branch office in Pasadena, CA. Matthew worked as a Junior Accountant for Pender Capital Management, a Real Estate Investment Fund, where he managed investor contributions, dividend processing, and provided bookkeeping for three of the company’s bank accounts.

Matthew holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance from California State University, Los Angeles. Currently, Matthew is attending Saint Mary’s College of California pursuing his Master of Science Degree in Finance. Matthew has a passion for investments and business valuation. Matthew married his wife, Jessica, in 2019 and in his free time enjoys traveling, golfing, reading, and spending time with his family.
