Sam Sullivan

Vice President

Sam Sullivan is a Vice President at Robertson Stephens in the Westport, CT office, where he partners with individuals, families, and entrepreneurs to deliver customized wealth management strategies aligned with their long-term financial goals.

Before joining Robertson Stephens, Sam spent more than a decade in senior leadership roles across sports marketing, sponsorship strategy, and experiential marketing. He advised Fortune 500 brands on high-stakes investment decisions, partnership valuation, and long-term growth initiatives. Most recently, he served at WPP/GroupM, where he led sponsorship and content strategy for major financial services and consumer brands, overseeing complex, multi-year partnerships across professional and collegiate sports, media platforms, and live events.

Earlier in his career, Sam held leadership positions at Cogent World Entertainment and Wasserman Media Group and Strategic, where he managed large client portfolios, negotiated strategic partnerships, and led cross-functional teams executing national marketing and experiential programs. Throughout his career, he has been trusted to manage significant budgets, guide clients through complex decision-making, and deliver measurable and memorable results — experience he now applies to his wealth management work.

Sam graduated from Trinity College with a degree in History, where he was a member of Psi Upsilon Fraternity and played club hockey. He is actively involved in his community and supports organizations focused on youth mentorship, first responders, and golf-based charitable initiatives. Sam also serves as a volunteer firefighter in Rowayton, CT, and Point O’Woods, Fire Island, NY.

He lives in Rowayton with his wife, Caroline, and their dog, Saylor.
